Online Seed Saving Class
On Thursday May 7th, 2020, SS-KC is hosting a virtual seed saving class! Watch the one hour video at 6 PM, download class notes here, write down your questions, then at 7 PM we will have the amazing Dayna and some of the seedy board available to answer questions! Q&A session on Zoom.
Seed Saving Classes
Our scheduled twice monthly classes are the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Center at 4750 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64110. See the Seed Saving Class Calendar for that complete list. We also do classes for groups offsite upon request & those can be scheduled up to 6 months in advance. Just contact Dayna at dayna@seedsavers-kc.org to make arrangements.
Winter Seed Exchange

At this event, you bring seeds you have to share & in return you take seeds that you want to grow! You can bring seeds that you have (properly) saved yourself, or ones that you have purchased.

Spring Plant Exchange

Do you have perennial plants that need divided? How about starting more seeds this sprint than you need for yourself? You can your extra plants to this event and trade them out for new varieties that you want for yourself. If you bring 1 plant, take 1 plant. If you bring 5, take 5. Or if you have a bunch of extras, but don't really need much yourself, all of the leftovers from the exchange are distributed to community gardens!

Community Events
Throughout the year, we have an educational booth about our organization at different community events.
We will post this information on the website & our Facebook page as we schedule the events.
